I first met Dr. Norman Coates, Owner & Dentist at Dentistry Optimized in Inver Grove Heights, MN through Upwork. We did a simple project together to do a redesign of his website’s navigation bar. He was so happy with the result, within 24 hours, he hired me to redesign and develop his entire website.

Within two weeks of project kickoff, I had designed a completely custom and hyper-branded website for Dentistry Optimized using Adobe Photoshop, with custom iconography designed in Adobe Illustrator. Our main design goals on Dr. Coates’ new website was to put forth his expert care, great team of dental associates, dedication to continued education and cutting-edge dental technologies.

The WordPress theme of choice was a bit cumbersome and buggy, but I was able to develop custom grids and used portions of the Bootstrap 4 Grid framework to make the site more friendly on mobile and tablet devices. Once development was complete, we performed on-site, technical SEO using the Yoast SEO plug-in and submitted his sitemaps to Google Search Console to be crawled and indexed.
